How fast is YOUR reaction time?

Hitting a fastball in Major League Baseball is one of the hardest things to do. How fast is your reaction time? We are going to practice and see how fast our reaction times are.

Can you hit a major league fastball? First, lets see if your reaction time is fast enough!

Practice a few times, then find your average reaction time on three pitches. Post your time and write a comment.

8th Grade Science Safety Posters


Each person will create a poster that illustrates a different lab safety issue. You should finish working on your posters during class. Monday you will briefly explain your safety issue to the rest of the class.


Guidelines
• No more than 12 words
• Clearly shows the safety issue assigned
• Easy to understand the issue
• Looks good
• School appropriate
• Grabs your attention
• Catchy slogan
• Colorful design
• Neatness
• Name written only on the back of the poster


You will be graded by the rubric handed out in class.

A picture of each poster will be posted on our blog.
